Heat Pumps Don’t Last Forever

When I was in my Twenties, I was known to be a bit of an adventurer with a knack for the crazy. Much of the crazy was undeserved though, because even as I crossed countries like Egypt and Sudan on a bicycle, I always watched my surroundings and planned my trips well. One thing I learned quickly was that increased complexity leads to more possible points of failure. Hence, my first trips were exercises in logistics, and later, I turned towards the simple, lightweight, and proven processes. Heat Pumps are a high-tech solution for a simple problem. Maintenance loves those beasts as it makes them quite some money, but owners seem not to appreciate it. How about some sensible planning?
