‘Huge Milestone’: Biden Admin Green Lights Nuke Reactor Using Tech Not Utilized In Decades

It’s not a technology thing. We have enough technology to safely run the entire planet on nuclear and have lots to spare. Technology comes into play for one of two reasons only. Either because nukes shall be mobile and modular. This exists but it needs to be made a lot more reliable and foolproof. You don’t have specialized labor available everywhere like on a nuclear submarine. Or it’s because of the endless overregulation on regular nuclear demands for ever more flips and twists while adding little or nothing at all to the true safety of the planet. Consultants love it though as they strike it rich for feel-good stuff.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) granted approval for the construction of a salt-cooled, high-temperature nuclear reactor in Tennessee on Tuesday.
