If only 5 years ago anyone would have advanced such an idea, it would have been laughed at. Now it’s policy. The question is not how far they go as this is pretty much without limits. The real question is how far we as a population are willing to let them have it. Freedom cannot be given – it must always be taken and when you take something you take a risk. But we have learned in over half a decade that risk is a bad thing. It should be avoided at all costs. We paid for it with our freedom, our belongings, and soon with our sanity. The longer we wait with taking our lives back, the harder the fight will be.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
