Is Peak Oil Demand Close?

It may feel like that for quite a while as the world is at the precipice of the biggest depression ever. On top, population collapse in China and a few other Asian countries will shrink economies as well which will further douse the flames of demand for anything including energy. Of course, any exporting nation needs to convince itself that the good times will come back so their narratives will hold up until long after the point when things are set in stone already. That being said, as long as it may take but the world will bounce back and then oil will bounce back as well as it will need reliable and clean energy.
