Does anyone remember when Adam Schiff lied about a phone call Trump had made with the Ukrainian President? It did not take long for that lie to get exposed. And there he sat, freshly painted a liar with irrefutable evidence presented that he actually consciously lied and he took it with a straight face. The man did not even flinch. I pride myself on being able to sniff out liars when I see them but those actors have become so good, that they are hard to sniff out. That was the day when I lost the last smidgen of faith in the system – not that I had a lot to start with.
