Italy Returns to Nuclear Sanity. Shouldn’t We?

About 4 years ago I had a meeting with an advisor to a Prime Minister of a European country. During breakfast, he told me that his boss had told him that Climate Change would be one of the dominant political battles to come and he also told me that he was convinced that it was all a hoax. But he also told me that currently (about 4 years ago that is) he could not touch the topic as it’s still politically toxic. Then came COVID and then the war in Ukraine. But his general prediction was solid. There will be countries that will return to sanity. There will be setbacks as the outcomes of elections are always uncertain but the trend is as inevitable as Thanos is.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
