Lithium Ion Battery Fires Abound in New York City

I have heard of vehicle removal companies that refuse to take EVs on their trucks. In my home city Vienna it’s already hard to find underground parking that admits EVs. Their fear of fires is considerable. I would support a motion that prohibits any EV vehicle to get anywhere close to critical infrastructure including bridges, tunnels, and underpasses but also schools, daycare centers, and hospitals to name but a few. Also. EV drivers should pay increased premiums plus an extra tax for the additional risk they bring to our cities. Time to make EV drivers pay for the real cost they cause. And remove subsidies.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
