LNG Project Sanctions Set to Surge in 2019

220 mtpa of new FID’s in 2019? That would be colossal. Not that I ind but I have seen many of those lofty claims. Reality will be more measured I would say. But if only half that number goes forward we would still face a huge wall of LNG some years later.

Uncontracted demand by the world’s seven largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) buyers could increase four-fold to 80 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) by 2030, according to Wood Mackenzie.
