I am a very old member of Generation X – closing in on 60. This means I am old now. This also means that a lot of freedom blessed my youth. I was able to see the world and experience other cultures and people. Life in my youth was still unspoilt by all the madness we have now. There was madness too, but it was not nearly at the current level. The world will survive this, but not every developed country will pull through. We must prepare on a personal level, and if you happen to live in one of the disaster zones, you will have to move out. Those zones will recover eventually, but you might be too old to see it if you are my age or older.
