The Boomers did not see WW2 anymore, but as kids, they could see what the war had done as it took decades to repair our countries. Gen X did not see reconstruction anymore but we experienced the Cold War and saw what happened on the other side of the Iron Curtain, directly as in my case, or indirectly. But Millenials and Zoomers have no such memories or experiences. Their mind is unperturbed by reality and the consequences of awful choices so they go for any utopian BS they come along with. And we, the boomers and X-ers don’t have the balls to hold them back. But we will cope with the disaster they force on us – better than they will.

The misanthropes who glue themselves to roads and berate us about the ‘horrors’ of nuclear, coal and gas-fired power aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed, to be sure. Living in a fact and conseque…

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
