North Sea oil production falls at fastest pace in a decade as Labour fears deter investment

Why does that make anyone afraid? That’s what a majority of people seem to have wanted all along. Haven’t we heard that we must exit fossil fuels as otherwise, we will all roast? That should be good news. Oh, did you expect life to go on just as if nothing happened while all reliable energy is killed on the altar of a religion? That may have been a bit naive. There are consequences to the things we do or to the things we allow to go ahead through our own inactivity. Many of those consequences have been kept at bay by mechanisms that made the crisis worse in the longer run. How long did we expect to run from the snowball crushing us? The fun is over.
