OPEC+ and Iraq come to terms on cheating, strengthening the deal
You cant stop cheating. Most OPEC countries have very thin reserves and need oil money like yesterday to cover basic stuff. And the pressure mounts because the longer the “I get less money for my oil” situation persists, the deeper real cuts will have to be. Considering that a fair number of those countries live on a mixture of stick and carrot, they will need a lot more stick to keep the population docile. Expect some nasty news out of some countries as people want their pan et circenses.
