Paris votes to ban rental e-scooters

In my own city Vienna, those contraptions are a scourge. They are being thrown onto the sidewalk carelessly, they are being used for drunk trips of groups of juveniles, they slam into parked cars and never leave a notice and they also slam into pedestrians on the sidewalk where those contraptions are not even supposed to be. I am very much in favor of license plates for those scooters so we can sniff out the hooligans and bring on some accountability. Sorry folks, I am much in favor of freedom but that comes with responsibility, and if this cannot be had automatically, we need plates.
