The majority wants it so it’s the law. That’s how our legal systems are built, that’s how our democracies are built. Hail the majority, it’s always right. When it comes to organizing people living together there are few better options. Democratic processes always get gamed (that’s as old as humans living together in larger groups) and there is rampant fraud in every culture and at every time. But in the world of facts that science used to be, opinions (be they majority opinions) should not hold any sway. Legion are majority misconceptions. Sadly, the world we live in cannot do anything without consensus.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
