PEGAS to launch LNG contracts in February 2019

Its a very humble beginning. North Western Europe is a natural born flexibility option to Asian vanilla buyers. It can do what almost no other can. Some new instruments exploiting this market opportunity will hit us. North Western Europe is going to be the hotbed of LNG innovation.

Paris-based Powernext, the EEX Group gas activities manager, is set to introduce financially-settled LNG contracts on its trading platform PEGAS.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
