For once, thats a real horror story. for the last almost 100 years we were regaled with stories of overpopulation and what the carrying capacity of the planet is. And yet, all the predictions of doom have consistently been confounded. Wealth and development also bring strongly dipping population numbers as people stop procreating. Thats especially drastic in Europe, Russia, and incredibly China. Its one-child policy has created more than just one generation of spoilt little emperors that won’t find a wife. China has been the sweatshop of the world. They won’t have the headcount for that anymore.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
