Princeton Academic: We Should Become Vegans for the Sake of the Planet

Let’s just assume for the sake of an argument that we entertained their demand. We all would become vegans and that’s it. Or is it? What makes you believe that this would be the last demand they have? Academic institutions that have been as deeply infested with their self-righteous, moralistic stance always need drama. That’s their fuel. That’s what they feast on. If we gave in to their demands, they would have to dream up something new, even more extreme because we had just taken away their fuel, their justification for even existing. Someone who needs to feel superior to others needs to create a rub. They will never ever stop. We must stop them.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
