Shale Oil Drilling Getting Cheaper

I have watched the shale universe for close to 20 years now and I can impossibly count the number of times when shale was pronounced to be dead. Just as many times has the end of more innovation been pronounced. I always kept it with the late Feynman “There is plenty of space at the bottom”. I am not a driller so there are plenty of people with much better technical knowledge than I have in Oil & Gas out there. But I am pretty good at spotting patterns. Those who know me also know my prediction record. Shale is just getting started. When it gets into high gear, hold on to your hats. The true entrepreneur is always most dangerous when pressed into a tight corner.

The cost of drilling for shale oil is dropping for the first time in about two years.
