Shell ‘refocuses’ hydrogen strategy on trucks and industry

So the rollback is underway. It cannot be done in one piece as this would look horrible from a marketing and a virtue-signaling perspective. But whatever is being done, it won’t take care of the most pressing problem hydrogen has. How to transport and store it. That’s not like Natural Gas by any stretch of the imagination. Natural Gas is a benign, non-toxic, non-corrosive gas that liquefies relatively easily. None of that is true for hydrogen – it’s very expensive and very, very dangerous. Trucks with hydrogen in the tank are rolling bombs – match electric trucks as rolling bombs quite nicely. It’s getting more dangerous by the day.
