Our natural reflex will be to create some public policy body that shall be in charge to overlook science. But that would be false. The only thing that keeps all those things in check is ruthless light into all dealings plus an awareness that nobody is immune to corruption. I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
