The LNG SPA and the energy transition

When all else fails, people will need something that works and that’s still very clean. That’s methane and LNG makes methane fuel for anything heavier than a delivery vehicle. For years I had predictions that gas is a dying industry and yet, it gets bigger every year. And the SPA will remain the cornerstone of the LNG world as it alone allows production projects to offer those contracts as collateral for their enormous investments. Buyers will be more and more portfolio players that will play with the volumes and the capacities they have. This is not for the fainthearted though. Natural Gas is o bridge – and if you really want to see it as a bridge its an awfully long one.
