The Tories are stuck in a Net Zero trap of their own making

Things were very different when the Brits proceeded to the ballot boxes last time. Sunak is not only “not elected” but inherited the office. He is also not the first and the man that was on the ballot last time had already done things I am sure most of his electorate did never expect of him. The “not so silent anymore” majority is done with all the antics of politicians – antics that sure make their lives miserable and that cost them more money than they can cough up. So Sunak inherited policies that flatly contradicted pretty much anything the voters expected plus he put on top of his own making things worse. The next string of elections in Europe will produce unsettling results. A good time for new parties to enter the fray.
