Total pledges to be carbon neutral by 2050

Does this mean that no living thing will work there anymore by 2050? Because we are beings of carbon. Opposing carbon means opposing life itself. We are made of carbon and we all emit it all the time. So Total, what’s it going to be? No humans by 2050?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
