Trump’s former energy chief sounds alarm on ExIm-backed gas project as threat to America first energy agenda

Mozambique and its LNG project were the rising stars of the LNG world when I still worked in management, and I ended that almost one and a half decades ago. It has been a dead fish ever since. It’s always being touted but never really getting off the drawing board. The problems are numerous – safety from militants is just one. This is not going to be a cheap project if it ever goes real. That being said, neither is Alaska LNG, which is one of those project zombies as well. If the markets had wanted Mozambique or Alaska LNG, they would already be operational. Cool the banter.
