What’s the worst thing that could happen to you when you are a project developer? Having your project killed in the crib when everyone wants to go ahead? Wrong. Its almost finishing your project and having it stopped there. In the first case, you spent some study money. No biggie. But in case two, billions have been spent and go to waste if nobody can resume it. Let’s be clear – Gazprom will find a way to finish the pipe but it comes at a steep price. Oh, by the way. My 4-year-old bet that NS2 won’t be operational by Jan 1st. 2020 looks like its won.
