US risks losing long game in China LNG spat: Bousso

As if the Chinese market was the most important place for US LNG to go. US LNG is being produced at the US Gulf Coast primarily. This means that any tanker loading will naturally be in the Atlantic basin. No expensive canal crossings are needed. Also, the distance between the USGC and the North Western European coasts is much smaller than with China. 10-day shipping guaranteed. Anything going to China will have to pass through Panama which adds waiting time and cost plus the long trek across the Pacific which will take something close to a month. Europe is the better market.
