We have a very unhealthy relationship with radiation. We are surrounded by it day and night. Heck, it’s very likely radiation that’s responsible for our existence in the first place. As with everything, it’s the quantity that kills. Try too much sugar for a long period of time and see what happens to you. Chances are your granite countertop exposes you to multiples of radiation than a nuclear power plant even if you lived on the premises of the plant itself. Oh, if it’s the radiation you fear then you should be worried about the tailings of many of the metals used for renewables and batteries. They are sometimes much more radioactive than most stuff coming out of nuclear power plants. Nuclear power is a blessing for humanity.
