We still have no idea how to eliminate more than a quarter of energy emissions

We will have to tackle this step wise. We can start by converting all heavy transport to LNG as a fuel. Yes most of it is fossil but it would already take care of all toxic emissions and bring down CO2 a good bit too. Plus, its mature technology that can be implemented inexpensively and right now. As a further step, once LNG is a reality as a fuel, we can work to produce the LNG biogenically so the CO2 count goes to zero. We can do that knowing that we wont choke in fumes. How about that?

Climate discussions typically center on the need to replace fossil-fuel power plants with technologies like wind turbines and solar panels.
