What Makes People Act on Climate Change, according to Behavioral Science

Having an opinion that is independent of the zombified masses is hard. It’s so hard that the majority of people fear being singled out more than death itself. And I am not overdoing it here. Does anyone remember the nuclear scientist that was ordered to look into the reactor core by his superior in the HBO Tchernobyl series? He complied knowing fully well that this means a very painful death. You may say that this was in the Soviet Union and people there had never learned to stand on their own but are we so different? I don’t think so. Strong opinions that dare say publicly what they think are rare. Which is why every single voice counts.
