Why the U.S. Senate Must Reject Joe Goffman for the EPA

Extremists wherever one looks. The gut tells us that everything must be done to avoid them when in fact, it’s way too late already. It does not matter anymore if there are a couple of more extremists in positions of power anymore. What’s much more important is that the people see what happens and react on a local and state level. One cannot reform a state from the top. It’s impossible. The apparatus in place is usually way too entrenched. Even an honest effort would run into quagmires for decades. Better to make people lose all hope and refocus on what matters. As local politics will translate into national in time. Buckle up Toto, it’s going to be a wild ride no matter what happens.
