Looking at how fast the German Socialists and Greens changed their colors once they were in power, I would guestimate that Macron will endeavor to be Lepenier than LePen herself during the new term. You can slice it, you can dice it but reality always has its day eventually. All you can decide is how painful you want the snapback to be. Ignore problems long enough and they snowball into calamities. macron did an excellent job of ignoring the true problems France faces. They will bite him evermore now. And he will do what he thinks needs to be done. Principles be damned.
