Wind to be EU’s largest power source by 2027

I always read “falling costs”. The wind folks here in Austria seem not to get any of it as they are all struggling to stay alive. So …. Whats true?

Wind will become the largest power source by generation in the European Union (EU) by 2027, according to the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) World Energy Outlook 2018 report.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
