Witch Hunts Correlate with Climate

Most people have a very simplistic view of the world. And when bad things happen in their lives, they can’t look upon the reasons for this misfortune dispassionately but must look for a scapegoat. That happened under the Nazis when Jews and Gypsies were sent to the termination camps. That happened during the witch hunts and with pretty much any other pogrom. It still happens today and politicians without a spine use those sentiments for their own advantage. The Climate Change scare is a prime example – but not the only one.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
