It was not long ago when Alarmists still tried to maintain a facade of serious debate. Not that the results were ever in doubt – it could always only be whatever they deemed right. But what I increasingly see happening is a lot of desperation on their side. The mask falls, they call everyone who does not share the most extreme version of their views. It all reminds me of the witch tribunals of the past. They are losing their cool. Smacks of desperation. A fight with reality can truly be frightening.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
