A University Cultivated Passion for Nihilism

Most people going to university are already part of an elite club when they enroll. They are not, but thats what they feel like, and if you want to be part of it, really, really want to be part of it, you take on whatever this club throws at you without question. Because those higher up in their imagined pecking order came from the same place of self-annointment. And once you are older, higher up in this bubble, you have invested so much that even if your brain told you different, you still must repeat every idiotic thought ad infinitum as the price for not doing so is rejection. You have invested too much to be rejected. Thinking is dangerous when you are part of a cult.
