I am a born skeptic. As a kid, I looked at who played Santa. When the big financial crisis of 2008 hit us, I thought that people would learn from the pain they endure. In the end, a number of people I knew very well lost quite some money. I thought that will teach them. How wrong I was – not even 6 months after their biggest bloodletting they told me about their latest financial gamble again. The same is at work here. People should have learned a lesson from the hollow promises of rooftop solar and renewables in general. They don’t. Same game, same fools.
