You are not part of the club if you are not a hypocrite. In those circles, it’s fully expected that you profess to stand for causes which the reality of your life is at odds. Besides, there is a sense of entitlement. Remember, those people know that in this new world there is no place for everyone. They fully expect that the rest of the world is some sort of servant class that exists at their pleasure. They can’t even imagine what a normal life is like even if they originally hailed from humble origins.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
