Biomethane, key to decarbonize HGV transport in UK & Ireland, says study

It’s still on the pricey side but when we are in the realm of green fantasy technologies, it’s still quite affordable especially as compared to hydrogen. But that’s not even the best thing. Biomethane technology is mature. This means we don’t need pixie dust to box the numbers in. We also don’t run operational risk anymore as we know what it does so it’s even very safe to use. And – you can use existing Natural Gas infrastructure without damaging it as hydrogen does. It can’t compete with regular hydrocarbons but it will eat the lunch of all else.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
