It’s something I have always looked at with bewilderment. Personally, I would not give two dumps about the opinion of anyone that has consistently gotten everything he/she had predicted for 50 years wrong. And still, the world beats a path to those that have never gotten it right and shuns those that call it out. Time to bring reality back. Time to kick the hucksters to the curb. Time to concentrate on facts as opposed to narratives and feelings. We have a bunch of real problems to deal with. Let’s just skip the imagined ones.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
