Electric airplanes are getting tantalizingly close to a commercial breakthrough

Commercial breakthrough, really? It’s a long way from a little two o four-seater jumping between regional cities to a commercial airliner that crosses the Pacific in one go. And by the way, those batteries are still made from material mined and processed by using hydrocarbons. Does anyone want to take a look at the real carbon footprint?

2020 has proven to be a milestone year for electric aviation.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
