England ‘not ready’ to respond to extreme heatwaves this summer – and resources are at ‘breaking point’

England does not need a policy for heatwaves – or any other weather event for that matter. Neither does any other country. What we really need in developed countries is a policy for free, responsible, and mature citizens. When people toughen up on a personal level, they are much better to respond to whatever hits them. But politicians won’t drop the opportunity for more regulation as it’s also an opportunity for kickbacks and all other good things for them. Taxpayers that are afraid of the big bogeyman in the sky can be fleeced much easier.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
