EU rules still limit green hydrogen growth

Most hydrogen projects that take FID today are very small. Big-volume hydrogen projects are lacking and there are essentially no FIDs except the Helios project in Saudi Arabia. And their cost overrun gives the other projects the jitters as lots of assumptions must be going down the drain right now. The current levels of support offered are not nearly enough to cover the shortfall. Most projects use imaginary low figures for their projections but they get increasingly exposed for the puff of smoke they really are. This is a pipe dream.
