European natural gas storage inventories are at record-high levels at the end of winter

So wats going to happen when storage is full to the brim? Prices must drop and buyers will go into take or pay. Its the end of winter and storage is supposed to be rather empty. Longterm pipeline purchase agreements are flat delivery. This means storing gas in the summer for use in the winter. But if storage is rather full, there is not much space for new gas from pipelines. LNG can be diverted away but with pipes that does not work. Expect some buyers to throw some hard challenges to pipeline sellers.
