I would be careful with that. I do personally know way more than one top-level executive of a European gas company that secretly hopes that Russian gas comes back and old times rein again. They use the current situation to make money but they want Russia back. Of course, none of them will ever admit that they want the bear back but for many thats what they want. And thats true for quite some politicians as well. But the old times won’t come back – not as it was before.
