I am sure they would appreciate some warming if it ever hit them. Humanity had found a way to beat nature and thrive by using hydrocarbons. Just look at how life was before hydrocarbons. A tiny elite lived a good life and the rest of the population was wretched. Any homeless today are better off than most people were at the time. Actually, today’s Middle Class lives in far more comfortable than Kings and Queens of the pre-industrial times. They had windmills then already – you know?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
