Climate has become a trillion USD per year industry and it has grown far beyond the obvious. Politicians have discovered that climate is just one more area that allows them to shake companies off on additional regulation. A whole consulting industry provides advice on how to navigate the treacherous cliffs of climate legislation and non-profits do more of the shake-off again. I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
