German firms urged to cut dependence on China
I know personally at least 3 companies that have already turned their back on the so called Chinese market in disgust. Each of them has bled enormous sums of money into a hope that they might strike it rich one day in the Middle Kingdom. All of them are licking their wounds and they wont go back to China if you held a gun to the temple. Nobody likes doing business in a place where you have to work with your ass constantly being exposed to the cold.
A new strategy paper from Germany’s influential BDI industry federation calls on firms to reduce their dependence on the Chinese market, according to a draft seen by Reuters, in a sign of rising concern over Beijing’s state-driven economic model.
