Google Powers EDF’s Methane Monitoring Satellite

Oh yes, another of those contraptions that can do what no person could do so far. The normal concentration of methane in the air is less than 2 parts per million. That 0,0002% – a truly thin soup. And we claim to measure that from a couple of hundred kilometers in height. How realistic is that? Oh, they say it already. They will use an algorithm. So it’s not measurement – it’s an assumption but this assumption is going to determine guilt or not. More or less a way by which policymakers play Roman Imperator. They decide who gets to live and who to die. Their decision cannot be challenged as the data will never be known. Is that how a democracy works?
