Green Bombshell: New Evidence Points to the Annual Slaughter of Millions of Bats by Onshore Wind Turbines

Why are we surprised? When we put stuff into the blender for our morning breakfast shake, we fully expect things to be crushed to smithereens and smooth when they come out. Thats how we like our shakes. But when we put the blender in the sky, we expect no crushing of anyone who lives there. And who lives in the air? Birds, insects, bats, and some other creatures. Don’t be surprised when animals get shredded by a blender-like aperture. But scavenger populations have increased around wind turbines. They seem to appreciate the bits of animals raining from the sky.
