Now, what’s a catch 22 if not this one? Wind and solar are expensive forms of energy and promoters need a whole plethora of tricks to fudge the numbers. One of them is getting their metals from countries with far weaker environmental and social regulations. All the gizmos the renewable energy lobby throws on us have the blood and suffering of others in them. Should we have blood batteries like we have blood diamonds today?

According to the Equinox Initiative For Racial Justice, the EU Green New Deal is driving exploitation in poor countries.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
